Fall is, not only the best time of the year, it’s also a time where friends and family get together to kick off the holiday season.  I felt a little adventurous today, as you’ll notice by the long list of ingredients and the inclusion of 4 pictures throughout the cooking process.  This root soup is a favorite of mine, and this latest batch has to be the best I have ever tasted.

With fall season upon us, it’s quickly becoming apple dessert time around the house.  Since Andre ordered requested that I make one of his favorite desserts, I simply had to try my hand at these.  The recipe is quite simple and with store bought puff pastry, they’re quick to bake as well!

By andre

Buttermilk Chocolate Cupcakes

Vanilla buttermilk icing recipe included!

Vanilla buttermilk icing recipe included!

A couple friends and I were planning a surprise bridal shower for a friend of ours.  One thing I love about showers, actually any type of gathering, is deciding what will comprise the food selection.  Instantly, I envisioned cute dainty cupcakes that were deliciously moist with the perfect amount of icing.  I also wanted a bit of variety for the guests, so I decided to go with a coconut flavoured  and a double chocolate cupcake recipe.  Hopefully, you’ll enjoy these recipes as much as the guests!
